AOC SPEAKERS
AOC recently stepped into the world of portable speakers. We’ve worked together with TP Vision and AOC on the introduction launch of this brand new Sound Speakers Category with the creation of a global campaign. We’ve been responsible for the full creative direction both visually as well as copywriting. Delivering the Brand Book, Lifestyle films, CGI product films, photography, and a wide range of CGI assets, totaling over 5000 delivered files. So a truly multi asset production! We collaborated with the talented director and photographer Lisa de Wolf, and DOP Mark Groen, to bring the concept to life. A campaign that focuses on Gen-Z, allowing us to push ourselves creatively with production design, camera work and editing.

Lifestyle Film
SPEAKER 01 & 02 – 30s
We created two lifestyle films, one for speaker O1 and O2 and one for speaker O3. In both films every scene is a visualization of the target audience using the AOC speaker to connect, get together and to be creative. In order to truly capture the Gen-Z vibe and look & feel we’ve moved away from the picture perfect shots. Our goal was to capture realness and authenticity by using playful angles and crops, and shooting in the moment without directing the talent too much. We used fun overlays, animations, and a fast-paced, snappy edit to create an edgy and artistic aesthetic. We also shot analog photos that were incorporated into the edit to enhance the feel-good vibe.
PHOTOGRAPHY
The fact that Lisa de Wolf is not only a director but also a photographer significantly enhanced the campaign. She created a photography series of energetic and fun lifestyle photos perfectly tailored to the target audience: Gen-Z. By positioning the speakers in a real and natural way, and having the cast interact with them in a genuine manner, we truly captured that authentic feel.

CGI
Our in-house CGI team played a key role in crafting the entire CGI experience, showcasing their ability to effectively introduce and present new products. With a clean and simplistic design, we highlight the speakers in all their beauty but with their powerful sound. Authenticity was key here as well.
The assets are designed to showcase every aspect of the speakers. From design to functionalities and from accessories to packaging. All in a clean, stylish and innovative way.

Part of the project was to deliver the Feature images per speaker, in different colors that they are available in. Our modular approach allows for the perfect set-up and pipeline that can easily deliver these images, in the most effective way from 360 or modeling, to Beauty shots, to Feature images all the way towards then making these Feature Images into the perfect CGI film showcasing the hero features of each product. All done in-house, guided by our post team. This approach both ensures an effective and efficient set-up of the project to allow for easy recoloring, replacements or extensions to existing shots or films while at the same time keeping a strong focus on consistency among all assets.

As we’ve taken on this project from Creative Concepting to Final Delivery we’ve also worked on developing the brand book that contains all guidelines, do’s don’ts and best practices as we’ve tried them out.
